A model I did for an indie game project that ended up falling apart a few months into production. The basic design was created by the team's concept artist, but I ended up having to embellish the details somewhat to get the design to stand up to scrutiny when I had to translate the original drawing into 3D.

The design was supposed to be creepy, yet at the same time sort of B-movie-ish The dev team tended to go back and forth on the ratio between the two.

The head, hands, and robe were all separate pieces; it kept polycount down, and there was no way in-game for the player to peek up under the robe.

Probably the most B-movie like the design got. No wonder the poor fellow kept his face hidden under a cowl!

The creature was supposed to have a second form, but production ended before I had a chance to finish the model. Perhaps one day I'll have to re-visit it.

The 2nd form's new head and torso got the furthest, making it as far as the texturing stage.
